Police operation in Zaman Park, many PTI workers arrested

Shortly after Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan left for Islamabad, the police in Lahore launched an operation in Zaman Park and started arresting PTI workers. The police started removing the camps outside Zaman Park.

According to reports, a heavy contingent of police has reached Zaman Pak, while the van and water cannon carrying the prisoners have been brought to Canal Road. Cranes have also been delivered to Zaman Park.

According to the police, there are workers carrying sticks around Imran Khan’s residence in Zaman Park.

The police say that the activists are present in camps near the ground in Zaman Park and Imran Khan’s residence.

Section 144 was announced by Punjab Police through Speaker.

On the other hand, PTI workers are raising slogans against the police.

It should be noted that an agreement was reached between the caretaker government of Punjab and Tehreek-e-Insaaf regarding police action in Zaman Park yesterday, TORs for rallies, security and legal matters were agreed between the parties.
