Peshawar Zalmi recorded an impressive win against Quetta Gladiators as they climbed the PSL points table.
Quetta got off to a poor start as they failed to handle Peshawar Zalmi’s pace attack. Despite Iftikhar Ahmed’s half-century, a sluggish start hampered Quetta’s chances of posting a big total. Quetta finished with 154/7 with a late clash from Iftikhar and Odin Smith.
Peshawar were soon piled up due to Muhammad Hasnain’s brilliant bowling spell. Rowman Powell and Jimmy Neesham chased the runs with a solid partnership before Dasan Shanaka ended the innings with Wahab Riaz to give Peshawar the win.
Peshawar won this match by 4 wickets and reached the second place in the table.
