Why does Imran Abbas choose Indian films instead of Pakistani films?

Imran Abbas has been a big name in Pakistani drama industry. He has done big projects like God Aur Mohabbate, Mohabbate Tum Se Hate Hai and Koi Chand Rakh. He is known for his good looks and good acting and his fans are always waiting for his new dramas. His upcoming project with Saba Qamar Tumhare Hasan Ke Naam is already on everyone’s watch list.

Imran Abbas has also worked in Bollywood and we saw him in films like Bipasha Basu and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil where he did a cameo. He was also offered Ram Leela which he turned down at the time and it went to Ranveer Singh. He is once again gearing up for the Indian Punjabi film GV Sohniaji and two other international films. However, we have not seen Imran Abbas in Pakistani films till date.

When he was a guest on the Mirza Malik show, he was asked the same, and he said that films in Pakistan are not being made on solid scripts. He further said that all the recent films from Pakistani cinema were offered to him but he feels that Pakistani cinema is not in that position at the moment and that is why he is preferring Indian films over Pakistani films.
