Yamaha introduced the high-speed Infinity SR150 competition in China

Yamaha has launched a sporty commuter bike with Scrambler-like styling in China. Called the GT150 Fazer, it is touted as a budget entry-level thrill bike, much like the high-speed Infinity SR150 Cafe Racer in Pakistan.

The GT150 Fazer is powered by a 149cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder, SOHC engine with Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) technology. The engine produces 12 horsepower and 12.4 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 5-speed constant mesh transmission and chain final drive.

The bike has single piston hydraulic disc brakes at the front and rear. The gauge cluster includes a round LCD panel that displays essential information, along with a 12-volt power socket.

The suspension setup includes non-adjustable telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. At 126 kg, the GT150 Fazer can hold 12 liters of fuel, however, fuel economy is currently unknown.

The price of this bike will reportedly be equivalent to Rs. 530,000, which is quite expensive by Pakistani standards. Regardless, the GT150 Fazer is an attractive bike that will gain popularity among enthusiasts.
