Why Does Price Increase Again?

yes! We all know the dollar is rising again. As a result, the cost of raw materials for locally assembled vehicles increases. Fuel prices in Pakistan are also rising. All these factors contributed to the recent price increase.

But it’s worth mentioning that Hyundai didn’t cut car prices when the dollar fell last month. Therefore, there is no good reason for companies to raise prices when the dollar is strong, but not lower prices when the dollar is weak.

It’s no rocket science that the impact of this high car price will hit local consumers. However, some say it doesn’t affect the purchasing power of your target audience. Not really. Purchasing power of the majority is affected by constant currency devaluation and inflation. As we discussed in our August car sales report, Hyundai vehicles have performed better. However, this price increase could have a negative impact on sales. It’s not a hidden truth that this price change may cause more people to buy used cars.
