Australian captain Pat Cummins has made an interesting comparison between star Pakistani fast bowler Shaheen Afridi and India’s Jasprit Bumrah’s yorkers.
Speaking in ‘Aap Bhaswad Dina Hai’, the Australian fast bowler described the 22-year-old pacer’s yorkers as more dangerous than the Indian bowling.
Former cricketers and pundits often compare the two fast bowlers due to their bowling skills and consistency in taking wickets across all three formats of cricket.
Last month, former Pakistan cricketer Abdul Razzaq said that Shaheen is a better bowler than Bumrah, claiming that the Indian fast bowler is nowhere near Shaheen.
The former all-rounder said that despite representing India in international cricket for seven years, he has not made much of an impact at the highest level.
Razak added that on the other hand, Shaheen has established himself as a complete pacer not only in Pakistan but also in the world in a relatively short time.
However, both Shaheen and Bumrah have been battling injuries in recent times with the former still out for the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy due to injury.
