KABUL: The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) on Tuesday announced the schedule for the three-match home T20 series against Pakistan, which will be played in Sharjah from March 25 to 29.

In an official statement, the ACB shared the schedule for their home T20I series against Pakistan, which will come into action on March 25 in Sharjah before the second and third matches between the two teams on March 27 and 29 respectively. same place.

ACB Chairman Mirwais Ashraf thanked the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for agreeing to play against Afghanistan and hoped for a close working relationship between the two cricket boards.

Meanwhile, PCB management committee chairman Najam Sethi told a press conference in January that cricket’s governing body was not interested in an ODI series, but a T20 series could be an option subject to the approval of the Pakistan government. .

“My position was that if we play those matches, it will not benefit any cricketing nation, so we have no interest in going ahead and playing those matches.
