The schedule of the T20 series between Pakistan and Afghanistan has been announced.

ACB Chairman Mirwais Ashraf thanked the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for agreeing to play against Afghanistan and hoped for a close working relationship between the two cricket boards.

Meanwhile, PCB management committee chairman Najam Sethi told a press conference in January that cricket’s governing body was not interested in an ODI series, but a T20 series could be an option subject to the approval of the Pakistan government. .

“I met the chairman and executives of Afghanistan. [Board] The crux of the matter in Dubai is that they requested us to play three matches,” shared Sethi.

“My position was that if we play those matches, it will not benefit any cricketing nation, so we have no interest in going ahead and playing those matches.

“Again, keeping it short, because I had a detailed discussion with them. We came to the conclusion that, subject to government approval, Pakistan and Afghanistan would be right after the end of PSL 8 and New Zealand Before the arrival, three T20I matches will be played in Sharjah.
